I sent this to my chronically ill wife who is busy undertaking herbal treatment protocols (if COVID taught us anything good, it was abandoning the vice-grip of big pharma once and for all).
As for me, I have general anxiety. I've started digging down into the "Why" of that and making progress.
Cheers for letting us tag on to this material gratuitously.
A very thoughtful and meaningful post. I sometimes try to fight through a negative situation rather than adopting an appropriate response. Some situations are just not going to get better at least the way you are thinking. Much better to be accepting in the short run and be courageous in the longer term and deal with the issue.
Thank you. It took me a long time to learn these lessons, after a lifetime stuck in fight or flight, and then freeze. Being calm did not come easy or naturally!
I just looked at the image at the start of your post - and relaxed and felt pleasure. I wasn't stressed - just moderately high-energy on-the-go - a good feeling - but not as good as the feeling from looking at the image. But I'm now choosing to let myself be caught up again in the day, doing various things, knowing that it matters also to get back to peace and tranquillity - yes, very healing.
Thank you so much for those wonderful words as I am going through a very difficult time with the love of my life passing away and my chronic pain getting worse due to stress.
I loved this article Gary. Such wise guidance. The song.....wow, loved the lyrics and to the music....just perfect. Very validating and profoundly true. 🙏 Thanks for sharing. Oh, and the flowers and butterfly picture at the beginning drew me right in visually too.
Wow! That is an incredible song. What a talent and voice.
I had never heard the term prodromal parkinsons. Kind of like pre-diabetes.
My father could not smell, had night terrors, reversed circadian rhythm, DISH, pill rolling, addiction to sweets, constipation and other symptoms long before he was diagnosed. Also, I recognized his PD at least 7 years before he was diagnosed.

Nice!
All I can think of is Henry James. "The three most important things in life are: First, kindness. Second, kindness, and Third, kindness.:
Nothing is more healing than kindness for healing -even the unexpected, really surprising kindness exhibited at the Dollar Tree store yesterday.
Thank you!
Thank you Gary. Needed those calming words after a day of reading the infuriating www.
A lesson I too have to keep re-learning... :-)

A picture paints a thousand words :-)

So sorry for your loss, and what you are going through, I am glad if the words even gave a little relief.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you feel supported and have loved ones checking in on you.
I needed to be reminded that ‘Hope Comes.’ Thank you.
Great work list. I pick "serene"!

Thank you for this. Great stuff.
