In my recent article:
I suggested that those of us who are horrified by what the Technocrats clearly have in store - from the Central Bank Digital Currencies, to the 15 minute cities, the digital IDs, the WHO in charge of pubic health, the censorship, the loss of human rights, including the right to protest, the enforced austerity and food shortages through net zero, and absolute zero, agendas, the transhumanism (modifying us through genetic alteration and merging us with technology), the exploitation and indoctrination of children, etc. - need to come together, and create alternative systems. We who donโt want to live in what we see as this darkly dystopian world, might seek to help ourselves by creating parallel systems, societies and [sub]cultures, as part of the solution.
I mentioned in the above article that I was inspired to write it by a podcast interview with a man who was planning a specific initiative to help address one part of the problem. The issue he was seeking counter is the buying up and privatization of most of the land in the UK by large corporations for โgreen washingโ purposes, i.e. to off-set their carbon footprints so they can carry on polluting. This land is then being fenced off, so that it is no longer accessible to the people or future generations, hence further cutting people off from nature and the land, which we know has huge negative impacts on health and wellbeing.
The man in the interview has now launched his idea, called The Woodlander Initiative, the details of which I thought I would share here as a definitive example of, and hopefully inspiration for, the type of thing I was considering in my โOpting Outโฆโ article. Something similar could also be tried, or may already exist, in the US, where the problem is even thornier, because, by all accounts, the land is being bought up by the likes of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Chinese government.
The below quotes are taken from the Initiatives website, which launched three days ago, and at the time of writing this has already raised over ยฃ16,000 in crowd funding.
โToday, more than ever, there is an imperative for us to work together in order to secure a future worth living for ourselves and future generations.โ
โThose who would control us and herd us towards a highly restrictive technological tomorrow want nothing more than for people to give up, to just go along with what they are told. They want no dissent.โ
โThe Woodlander Initiative was formed in order to give us, the people, a way to take back control, of our land, our freedom and our future.โ
From the Mission Statement
โThe Woodlander Initiative seeks to purchase land throughout the British Isles and we would like to see this land accessible to our members in every county. Global organisations are buying large areas to be used for carbon offsetting, reducing our farming capabilities and limiting your access, in order that they can continue to do business as usual, whilst you are confined to a concrete 20 minute neighbourhood.โ
โThe land we purchase is to be used for the benefit of TWI participating members, this will range from conservation of our historic woodland, meadows and pastures whilst allowing members access to the land for recreational activities like walking, hiking and camping.โ
โThe Woodlander Initiative recognises the desire for many people to return to the land, in whatever form this may take, from growing fruit and vegetables, rearing poultry and livestock, to smallholdings and sustainable housing. It is our aim to ensure that this holistic, nature based way of living, either individually or in larger groups is encouraged and enthusiastically pursued. We aim to do everything we can within current rules to ensure as many of our participating members can move towards this goal.โ
โThe Woodlander Initiative recognises the insidious rules and regulations that seek to remove people from nature and their land. 15 minute cities, 20 minute neighbourhoods, the restrictions on vehicle ownership and the ability to access land, we aim to highlight these issues and to fight them on all fronts.โ
โIn addition to the purchasing land, The Woodlander Initiative wishes to encourage its members to pursue individual and group business ideas, from arts and crafts to more commercial endeavours, we understand the obstacles for many people wishing to start a business, with banks usually unenthusiastic, and with any loan or funding offered loaded with the additional burden or additional interest payments. We will wherever possible offer interest free funding on agreed terms with free guidance and support from TWI Officers and members.โ
โThe overarching aim of The Woodlander Initiative is to take back control of our land, our freedoms and our future. We wish to create an environment where an alternative to the planned global technocratic transhuman vision can flourish and lead to a brighter future with a more traditional founding of family, nature and community.โ
Even if this initiative ultimately fails in it mission, from the activity levels in the memberโs forum, it has already succeeded in bringing a lot of people together, and got them talking about these issues, and thinking about solutions.
Thanks, Gary. I expect as you, that we'll see more of these kinds of initiatives. I don't worry about the B&M Gates purchases or China's. (Maybe I'm being dense here.) I suspect that as we continue to unwind this version of the world, that all gives way... sovereign people simply won't allow or respect property owned through immoral means. (And how the $ amassed to purchase it was clearly immoral)
They will take it back.
Perhaps even, (I can't say when) we'll come to see that no one can really 'own' the earth, the land, a piece of nature. It's not ours to purchase. We can only be good stewards.
Maybe someday.
Thank you for your reporting.
